TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

1. FORMATION OF THE CONTRACT

The customer acknowledges having read these Terms and Conditions of Sale at the time of placing the order, available on the website www.charmedorient.com
Placing an order implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms.


2. PAYMENT

All purchases must be paid exclusively in euros (€).
Accepted payment methods:

  • Credit card (secure payment)

  • Bank check

  • Bank transfer

Payment by check: The exact amount of your order is indicated in the order confirmation. The order will be prepared upon receipt of the check, to be sent to:

3. DELIVERY

Charme d’Orient undertakes to ship orders as quickly as possible.

  • Mainland France: Delivery within a maximum of 7 working days

  • Outside mainland France: Delivery within a maximum of 15 working days

Delivery times are provided for information purposes only and may be extended in cases of force majeure.
Ownership of the goods is retained until full payment of the price.


4. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

In accordance with Article L.121-16 of the French Consumer Code, the customer has a period of 14 clear days from delivery to return products for exchange or refund, without penalty (return shipping costs excluded).

5. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

The data collected is necessary to process orders.
In accordance with French Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 on “Information Technology and Liberties,” the customer has the right to access, rectify, and delete their data by contacting our customer service.

Telephone marketing:
In compliance with Law No. 2014-344 of March 17, 2014, we do not contact customers by phone without prior consent. Before any call campaign, we check the Bloctel opt-out list (www.bloctel.gouv.fr

Charme d’Orient commits not to sell customers’ personal data to third parties.


6. SELLER’S RIGHT TO CANCEL AN ORDER

Charme d’Orient reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of:

  • Technical or pricing error on the website

  • Product unavailability

  • Incorrect or unverifiable billing information


7. CONDITIONS OF PROMOTIONAL CODES

Promotional codes are personal, non-transferable, and non-assignable.

They cannot be exchanged for cash or combined with other promotions.

Their distribution on third-party websites or social media is prohibited.

Only one promotional code may be used per order.


8. DELIVERY ISSUES

In case of a damaged product or delivery error, please report the incident on the same day or at the latest the next working day after delivery:

We will promptly proceed with an exchange or re-shipment.


9. CONSUMER SAFETY & PRODUCT RECALLS

All consumer product recalls are published on the official platform:

If a Charme d’Orient product is subject to a recall, we will inform our customers directly (by email if available) and publish the information on our website in a dedicated section.


10. DISPUTES & CONSUMER MEDIATION

In case of a dispute, the customer must first contact our customer service to seek an amicable resolution.

If no agreement is reached, the consumer may refer the matter free of charge, within one year, to the following mediator:
